These two ladies are masters of quilting and learning. I've always loved their design and the easy way to follow their directions.

Good writers with great ideas. A way to brainstorm and combine your own quilt ideas with theirs. It's a lot of fun playing with colors and patterns and bringing your own vision to life in a quilt.

A fun book that keeps what its cover promises, but can also be used by absolute beginners. The designs follow a few simple ideas. What makes this out of the ordinary is the inspirational advice/instruction to make some extra blocks and use a designer wall to select and position them for maximum impact. I've only made one quilt in my short life and I've never even used this book to help myself. This book is beautiful and shows quilting as elegant as ever, but it was so hard for me to grasp and comprehend. I just put the book down and did something else. :(.

I have been a seamstress for many years and was looking for inspiration to make some quilts for my grandchildren. This book is so well written and illustrated and very inspirational. Would recommend to everyone from beginners to experienced. Love it.

Many of the colored quilt pages in this book look like they were made on a bad color copier. The outer cover of the book is shiny and beautiful. But the photos inside look terrible! I would never have bought it if I saw the quality. A friend of mine has a copy of this book which was sold many years ago and is a beautiful color and print inside and out.
