Smooth and easy cuts: power tools and hand tools

Unbeatable in quality and price. It cuts just as well as my old $50 knife. the cuts are smooth, with slight abrasions on the cut. I have used this on glass, ceramic and marble tiles with great success. The blade is a bit wider than I expected, but it's not so thick that you waste a lot of material, just take that into account when cutting. All in all my new favorite wood.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Disappointed with saw blades, parts and accessories

Not sure if it was my super cheap saw or this blade but it knocked my ceramic tile down pretty hard the first time. I tried to slow down, I tried more water, I tried to go faster, nothing changed. It cuts really well apart from the chips, but it's a good thing it was just a homemade project because if I had to sell the finished product as good enough or good enough I'd feel guilty for what I took at full price have. If I had to do it again I would try a different brand.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Trade in available

Better! - Power & Hand Tools

Bought a Makita wet tile blade for almost $40 and this item produced more chips than frills. I thought this blade was "you get what you pay for" due to the relatively lower price compared to name brand blades, but I took a chance based on the great reviews. I'm glad the reviews are right! Chips are day and night compared to a Makita blade and I can easily sand them down with an emery stone. I'll buy a few more just because! RECEIVE. THE. BLADE!

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Spend a little more on her Black Widow

I only used this to try and cut some fairly soft 13x13 Mexican ceramic tiles. I'm still not impressed after using QEP Black Widow's blade. He cut 3-4 tiles, which I tried very slowly, and there was a chip at the end of the cut. The cut surface of the diamond seemed to "disappear". I'll try again when I've cut out some smaller tiles for the bulkhead and will only post if I have better luck. Until then, for the rest of the 13-inch knives, I'll be choosing a well-used Black Widow blade.

Pros
  • Freehand work
Cons
  • Useless features

Great saw blade in Saws Parts & Accessories

This is perfect for my tile saw. I'm just a handyman but I've done a few tile projects and it's about a 4th or 5th blade. I used two in the first project. My kitchen was completely clad in 12 inch porcelain stoneware on the floor and backsplash. Porcelain eats the blade faster than ceramic. This blade seems to cut better than the original blade when it was new. It appears to be only slightly thicker than the yellow QEP blade, which cuts better than previous blades. So far I've only made a few…

  • Great price

40 cuts to 12 inches is the maximum

Just finished a fairly large shower. I kept track of how many pieces I cut with the new blade. I personally needed a stronger blade, but I managed. I cut 38 pieces by 12" and then 12 by 24". It's not exact math because some of them needed extra cuts, but like I said in the title I would stop cutting at about 480 inches and then stop because the blade will start running over you. Also, like any blade when it becomes dull, it begins to chip the lacquered edge. This is my experience and I hope it…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
