Not Reliable for Automotive Use

This sidewall connector weatherproof generator is not reliable for automotive use. Through trial and error, I found that it doesn't live up to its advertised power and charging capabilities. While it may work fine for other applications, it doesn't cut it for jump starting vehicles. The only pro was its weatherproof feature, but that hardly makes up for its poor performance. Save your money and invest in a more reliable jump starter.

Simple and perfect: spare parts and accessories for solar and wind energy

Exactly what I was looking for to make a kayak battery box. Easy and solid fit, the only downside I see is the connector cap which could be a little tighter. But if you use it, it's still connected.

Exactly what I need to connect my trailer

I had to hook up a dump truck to keep the battery charged as it is stored in the field and away from an outlet. I drilled a hole with a step drill bit less than 7/8. Drilled holes for the screws, then used some better quality self tapping screws to secure them. I also applied some silicone sealant/glue to ensure it's fully waterproof around the holes. Looks like it will come along with the trailer! Now we need to connect the charge controller, and we'll go to the races!
