Not recommended for recessed fixtures

I will not recommend this product, the glare produced by this light is uncomfortable, especially when you use video zoom, it is annoying, after Revain's 30-day return policy, I cannot return anything, hope this review is helpful to someone.

Bright lights make me happy

We used 9 of these lights to replace the less than impressive light in our living room. They look great and fit in a regular lamp hole (which is why I only drilled 8 holes for 9 lights). There are two things I would like to change. 1. The lighting angle is only 40 degrees. I would like more than 90 degrees. 2. The lights only rotate in one axis and are so well fixed to the ceiling that it is very difficult to rotate the entire light. But we love it and recommend it to everyone.

Pros
  • Recessed lights
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good product; easy to install

I have installed and replaced many recessed lights and they are by far the easiest to deal with. There is plenty of space in the back box and push-in connectors are a significant time saver over wire nuts. Be sure to purchase a 4-3/8 hole saw if installing more than a few. It's worth it for the time savings and clean install. A word of caution: the edges of the metal splice box are very sharp, so be careful not to cut yourself. I learned it the hard way.

  • Body and Fairing Kits
Cons
  • There are new competitors

very good light - will be buying more soon

They were very easy to install (according to our electrician) - we have installed 16 throughout the house and will be installing more soon. The only problem we had was that they couldn't be rotated left to right. So you need to make sure they line up the way you want them to. Otherwise, you have to rotate the entire block, and the installed block will be difficult to rotate due to the clamps. Also, be sure to mount them far enough away from the wall to ensure good coverage. We used to have…
