Not Worth the Purchase

Based on our own experience with this product we found it to be a waste of money. While it did emit infrared heat, it also created an unpleasant odor that permeated our reptile's terrarium. The only pro we can think of is that it is affordable compared to other terrarium heat lamps .However, the overpowering smell negates any cost savings. We would not recommend this product to anyone looking for reliable and safe pet supplies..

Pros
  • Efficient heat source for reptiles and amphibians
Cons
  • Produces intense heat that can be harmful to pets if not properly regulated

Great Tool for Heating Reptile Tanks

i recently purchased a ceramic infrared emitter for my pet lizard's terrarium and it has been a game CHANGER. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I knew I needed a more efficient heating source for my reptile. This product has exceeded my expectations in terms of heating and has helped regulate my pets temperature better than previous products I've used. The only con is that it can be a bit tricky to install, but once set up, it works like a charm. Overall, highly recommend for any…

Pros
  • Provides necessary heat for reptile and amphibian environments
Cons
  • Requires a ceramic fixture to use, which adds to cost and setup time

Good heat source. Hotter than incandescent bulbs of the same wattage.

So far so good. I use them in the chicken coop. Are you tired of using inferior Chinese heat lamps that keep falling apart and burning out. These bulbs match a reflector better, produce more heat for their wattage, and hopefully won't crack at every little bump or burn my crumbling chicken coop. Also, I think my birds will be healthier now that they have a light/dark cycle. (I also have a regular light on a timer.)

Pros
  • Customer Service: If the lamp life is less than 3000 hours, you can contact us for free replacement or full refund.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
