These gators do a good job for what I needed. They are not lined with added warmth material, but if you need protection from the wind they work great. They are easy to put on and take off. If you don’t like chaps, these are a great alternative.

Just received these in the mail. The quality seems amazing. Great materials, and great fit. I love that there is also some reflective material incorporated into the design. Unfortunately, since we currently have no snow where I live (yet), I cannot leave a review of the durability or effectiveness. However, based on on other reviews, I don't foresee any issues. did not expect much for the price. When they arrived they were compactly packed in a small plastic pouch. When I opened them they seemed thin and cheaply made. Was I pleasantly surprised when i actually used them. They were easy to put on, and worked very well. The velcro used is wide and heavy duty. My only caution is be sure to buy the right size. Got the medium for me and large for my husband based on sizing, even the large is snug on my calf without the strap tightened. I can fit both the medium and large, but was hoping for it to be a little looser for breathe-ability. If you have thick calves I’d definitely size up one or two sizes!

I have used them for a lengthy walk in the desert, up and down the dunes. They keep the sand out off the shoes, if you are wearing trekking shoes (non-fabric, that don't allow sand in in the toes area). It is relatively easy to wear. However, the boot straps are a bit difficult to tighten. They should also have a small size for the less bulgy leg-calf.

I saw an article recently that snakebites are up, and ticks, and while these can't protect you in every situation, they sure will protect you in quite a few! I ordered a set of these and I do go snowsnoeing from time to time or hiking so I figured these would come in handy. I'm not sure if I selected the wrong size or what happened, but their customer service was excellent. I reached out as soon as I received them as I needed an XL and not a L and they followed up and rectified it promptly. That alone for the price I paid warrants a good review. These work great at keeping the snow out of my boots but they are not idle for my situation. I use them daily, putting them on and off several times, when we have a lot of snow on the ground (about 1/4+ of winter where I’m at). But they are not convenient to put on as each time you have to re-thread the buckles. So most of the time I don’t even bother with them and just leave the bottom under shoe one loose enough to slip on and off.

Ordered these for my son prior to an anticipated snow in our area. They fit him great and look like they will do the job. However, the storm passed us by so we did not get to test them out. The quality appears good and they are easy to put on.

The material of the gaiter is good nylon. The improvements that would make this a great product are:1. The strap that goes under your boot needs to be nylon webbing and not some sort of vinyl. I nice quick release buckle should go with it.2. The Velcro closure needs to be wider. If you wear a lighter pair of pants it is hard to get the gaiter tight around your leg.3. The top webbing should have a quick release buckle instead of one that you weave.

I was skeptical that these would be thick material. Well these gators are made of thick waterproof material, so they stand up on my legs. Other gators on Ebay were made of thin flimsy material that will not stay up on my legs and keep sliding down when I walk. They are easy to put on and stayed up on my legs. Each one has a strap that goes under my boots. They kept my calves dry in the snow or when I was hiking in warm weather. So far, they have been durable and good quality.

I love the product, it’s very light weight and comfortable .I work in the detail industry and it works well with all the water that I use and it keeps your pant legs clean and dry . Love this product.

I didn't anticipate having to walk through many streams of water during my hikes this winter (or at least not streams too deep), but I bought the gaiters just in case and I'm SO glad I did. they kept my boots and socks dry and they are super comfortable. I saved a bunch of money too by not purchasing the more expensive version of these, which are essentially the exact same.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much for how inexpensive these were. I didn't think they'd be very waterproof, or fit right, or even work well at all. I just got these because I just needed something in-between the elements and my legs when riding my bike in the winter. Well I can safely say these exceeded my expectations. I bought the large set to go over all the layers and they fit snugly and securely. The Velcro is strong and the bottom strap is durable. I highly recommend these gaiters.

I love the fleece lining and the velcro for ease of putting on. I am also glad there was a cinch tap on top as these were slightly loose on me. I ordered a medium and I am 5'9" and a medium size calf. These are a great deal for the money and arrived next day! I would recommend.

The latest abandoned rabbit I've taken in thinks biting is a good way to get your attention, and something that's okay to do when playing with humans. Telling him "no bite" wasn't working, since what he wanted was a reaction and it's hard not to react to a sharp pinch, so I wanted to try ignoring him. The only thing I didnt like about these was they are open at the top. The adjustable belt can only tighten so far and for my skinny legs, just wont work.

Good gaiters. I have worn them several times and they keep out the snow well. Tighten the strap that goes under a boot well so that it does not come off.

I purchased a pair of these each for me and my wife. We’ve not yet had a chance to wear them hiking in the snow but I feel confident they will work well when we do. They are very comfortable and the Velcro sticks very well. We were surprised how much warmer they make your legs too. Looking forward to no more wet socks from snow getting in my hiking shoes. We ordered the next size up from what the size chart listed and glad we did. Perfect!

The title sums up my review. But the price was great. Friends I was with who are bigger than me had no problem keeping the gaiters up. The material was very strong and I believe a snake couldn't penetrate the gaiter. Worth the money I spent on it.
