Scrap that rusts

They lasted less than a year and rusted so much that the hole became unusable. On top of that, it wobbles like a piece of junk, but that's junk. Spend the extra $3 and buy the US standard for $10. We not only wasted time and money, but also water. Revain needs to start checking what they have for sale. Most are good but some things are rubbish.

Pros
  • Instructions: 1. Remove the chain or strap from the existing spray arm. 2. Remove the old rinse arm. Note: The threads unravel in the opposite direction. 3. Insert the new flushing arm into the toilet.
Cons
  • There are new competitors

EASY TO INSTALL. WORKS VERY SMOOTHLY.

I had been fiddling with a flush grip for 2 months that had previously been installed by a handyman. It has a thin, flat blade that kept slipping under the cap, causing my wife, who has tactile issues, to cause it to overshoot the normal arc and become permanently stuck in the 'fill' position stayed. I've played with the chain, bent the blade, tightened the plastic nut, etc. Nothing worked. I ended up ripping it out, breaking it in two and happily throwing it in the trash and ordering this one.

Pros
  • Qualihome side mounted toilet lever handle can add a new stylish touch to your bathroom and help your toilet. Chromed handle with PLASTIC lock nut and rubber washer. Pre-Drilled 8" Bar
Cons
  • Damaged

Wrong instructions, sticky seal.

First, the instructions say the nut should be tightened clockwise (like most nuts, bolts, screws, etc. in the US). Unfortunately. it pulls counterclockwise. This means removing it can be confusing. and cause the plastic assembly to break, which I did. Further on the handle is a rubber seal. causing the handle to stick in the open position. If you loosen the nut a little, it will sink after the water level has dropped enough for the damper in the toilet to pull it down. This is bad because you…

Pros
  • 4. Place the lock nut on the flush lever and tighten it onto the flush tank, noting the reverse threads. Don't overtighten. 5. Attach the toilet ball valve chain or strap to the new flush arm and adjust as needed.
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not worth it - definitely not heavy use

We recently bought and returned two of these units as replacements, one chrome and one chrome. polished nickel. Those toilet handles turned out to be horribly thin molded plastic with a metal coating (or incredibly cheap die-cast metal at best, but it definitely didn't look like it - they weighed next to nothing). The edges facing the tank are sharp. the tip of your finger; the back was hollow (not solid!) and looked like a nightmare to keep clean; and it didn't fit properly in the square hole…

Pros
  • Easy to install Universal design fits most side mount applications Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Quality
