It took about a year before the lever that helps suck the mount to the windshield broke. It broke on a needle. Up to this point it has worked fine. He holds the Nuvi 40 well.

Works as promised. Eventually it detaches from the window no matter what I do. I followed the directions and all the suggestions I could find. It just ends up letting go no matter what.

Like it very much, attaches very easily to the window of my SUV and stays on the window well even in extreme heat. I like this version better than the top seat version, it swivels so you can get in the right position to see your GPS while driving.

to replace the OEM strap that came with my GPS. I have no idea how I managed to lose it, but I did. Anyhow, it performs just as well, if not better than the original. Fits my GPS perfectly, twists and turns when needed, and sticks to the window so well it's been lifted since I bought this thing and hasn't come loose since. 5/5 I would buy again.

Put it on the windshield and installed Garmin at hobby airport in Houston. Went to the hotel and rented a Garmin. The next day I tried to put the Garmin back on the mount and it flew out the window. I tried to put it back on and found that the rubber suction cup had fallen apart - actually split in two. Had to use it once for about an hour before it became unusable. What a rip off. Art Fiacco

I bought two more for other cars. but instead of attaching them to the windshields, I stuck them to household appliances with SHOE GOO, an adhesive that you can find in the shoe department of Wal-Mart for example, as I have a lot of experience with this adhesive. from my cars. So the "suction" NEVER breaks after a few days and the dash mount is actually much better. I like permanent installs that never fail.
