Travertine Texture Single Rocker Electrical Wall Plate by Questech, Tumbled Finish Review

We recently renovated the kitchen (thanks, Hurricane Harvey :-()) and used ceramic travertine tiles on the bulkhead. I couldn't find plastic covers on the sockets of the right color so I ordered them, the color is excellent, the only thing I don't like is that the surface is rough, which probably makes cleaning difficult. They're also expensive, but luckily we didn't have to buy a lot.

Nothing like that, but a cheap plastic panel that costs less than a dollar at any hardware store. The description says it is an engineered stone composite, which is WRONG. There is no "stone" in it. A structure spray is applied to the plastic, nothing more. For $14 it's a scam. They were only true about one thing; it is easy. In fact, it weighs next to nothing, proving there's nothing "stone" about it.

This is a great alternative to the usual plastic socket/light switch covers. They add a subtle touch to the lesson. I would recommend them to everyone. They are affordable, look like real stone, wide range of colors, fast and reliable delivery. When I informed them that a lid had cracked in transit, they immediately replaced it with another - no problem. Manufacturer says it's cast stone but they look and feel like plastic. They are somewhat flexible, which is both good and bad. The surface is rough so I assume it attracts dirt from the fingers and is very difficult to clean. The screws that came with it don't match the photos either. I ordered three different plates and the screws all have a round head which is nowhere near flush with the plate like normal switch plate screws so nails easily snag on the screws. UPDATE: I returned this and they refunded it, then a month later they said I did not refund and charged for it! I tried to contact the seller who completely ignores me. I was very happy to receive it and was terribly disappointed to see that it was "made from a lightweight cast stone composite that offers a rich, rough texture that complements any natural stone surface". very misleading description.
