Perfect fit and functionality. Slightly different design but HP only lasted a year so OEM isn't that good. Also, if you look at the HP website, they just want to sell you the entire assembly with the heatsink and all. waste of money. It was installed in less than 5 minutes.

Incorrect item description. A fan says it will fit for Envy x360. That's the wrong fan. Please update the product description for this.

Impressive purchase. I have an HP Envy M6 Aq105dx and it fits perfectly. It's been about two weeks and the fan is working fine. It can get a bit noisy at times, but it calms down very quickly and my laptop never once overheated. Installation is also very easy. For those who are less tech-savvy at this sort of thing, there are very simple tutorials on YouTube. I will update this review if I encounter any issues.

Product arrived on time and installation was easy after removing the back cover of my laptop. Got this for my HP Envy x360 which is a couple of years old as the original battery died recently. I only used the laptop for a few days after putting in the new battery as I got a new laptop for school this year but I immediately noticed the difference the new battery made. My fiance (who lives out of state) now has a laptop that I put this battery in and he hasn't mentioned any issues either.

We bought this fan to replace a broken fan in my wife's HP laptop. The fan was an exact replacement for the existing fan, and it was easy enough to replace, although the tools that came with it (which were a bonus!) didn't have a torx bit, so while I was already planning on using my own tools, I would , if I still wouldn't. After installing and assembling the laptop, the fan works fine, but when running at high power for some reason, the fan makes a much more noticeable hum than the one it was…

Problem solved on my HP ENVY. When installing, be careful with the screws on the back cover, which are under the rubber feet. Attempting to remove the cover nearly damaged the PC before I ripped off the rubber feet to expose these screws.
