My almost 9-year-old got this, and I would be very surprised if it fit an average 9-10 year old. The straps are adjustable but the front remains quite low. These straps come unhooked often, and it's hard for the wearer to put them on again and again, requiring adult help. Would not buy again.

For the girl with a pool who is always swimming & diving, this is her favorite suit, each time she needs a new size up as she keeps growing taller I order a new one! This is the one she likes the best for fit & colors too.

Bought this for my niece. I did not have her around me when I ordered it. She told me she wanted a swimsuit at my house when she wants to play in the water. I ordered a size 5 she is a pretty tall skinny kid fit perfect. Should fit her into the next year. She has plenty of shoulder strap room.

My little one is on the skinny side so it’s hard to find her clothing to fit, but this suit is perfect. It doesn’t ride up as much as others that she’s had and the material is good. She loves the mermaid look and insists on wearing this one as much as possible. Since we have our own pool and we can’t really go anywhere it’s getting a lot of use and so far it’s holding up to many many washings.

Cute and simple printed fabric swim suit. Very thin material so not sure how long it will last. Great for longer torsos as it has adjustable straps. Gave 4 stars bc the material and simplicity of the suit is not worth the $17 price. More like a $10-$12 suit.

This is for my 6 year old daughter who LOVES cats and rainbow colors. I thought it was a bit 'whoa' when I first saw it online, but my daughter wanted this so much! When it came and she tried it on, it is actually really cute and fits perfectly! Even better, she is SO excited about this bathing suit and knows nobody else will have one, exactly like it! Super cute. Great material. I didnt see it in the description or review, but you the straps detach in the back so yoy can criss cross or have just strait straps. I do wish i wpuld have ordered a size up but it still fits. My daughter has a rather long torso.

This swimsuit is adorable! Definitely order a size up though! I used the size chart and got the size it said to get. It was too small for my daughter. Luckily, she is the oldest of two. It fit her little sister perfectly, her sister is one size smaller. So order up!
