Affordable performance and flexibility.

The base looks and feels good. I went a notch lower than what I had for quicker acceleration. It worked very well. Picks up speed very quickly on Crownline 210 CCR (21ft). Then I apply trimmers. Nauticus Smart Boat Tabs, 8 cylinders (21" x 25") and they were fantastic. Based on the results with these 17" trimmers I just bought the 19" version of this propeller. I can now have a great prop for more passengers and pipes (this one is 17"), or a great prop for fewer passengers and higher speedsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some bugs

Exactly what I need for pipe pulling!

Very happy with this 4 blade prop! I had to buy and try a few different bolts with different pitches to get the motor in the recommended 4400-4800 RPM WOT range. For my Captiva 212 with a 5.7L Mercruiser and a 1.47 Alpha One ratio, the 14-inch, 4-blade, 17-pitch prop got me 4800rpm with a 40-44 top speed mph. I pull 3 whistles at the same time with the help of adults. I was looking for quality support that wouldn't break the bank. I needed a prop that would quickly lift the boat while planingโ€ฆ

Power out of the hole

My Mercury Force 120hp outboard motor has a 12.75 inch bore and a pitch of 21. Pitch means inches per propeller revolution. The OEM Slope 21 gave me a top speed of 45 mph, but performed poorly for towing skiers. The 4-blade Nemesis 12.5x19 was a great substitute. Much more power out of the hole to tow slalom skiers on deep water starts was pleasantly surprised. My advice is check the manufacturer's specs for diameter/pitch, stay as close to diameter as possible and lower the pitch a bit forโ€ฆ

It was better than I thought going from to 17P.

I ordered this prop to replace a 13.25 19P prop for my 90hp Optimax on a 17.6ft full windshield aluminum boat. I ordered a four blade 13 X17P propeller. I was hoping to slow down the trolling speed with 17P instead of 19P. Trolling speed has not decreased. The speed stayed the same - about 2.2 miles per hour, depending on the wind and swell. I lost 2 mph at the top from 41-42 mph to 39-40 mph. It was better than I thought when I went from a 19P 3 blade to a 17P blade. My full throttle RPMsโ€ฆ

Felt a difference in low range compared to my 3 blade.

Matches my 2016 Mercury 115 with team traction perfectly. I replaced the 15" Quicksilver Black Diamond blade with a 17" pitch. On my 2017 Bayliner 190 deck boat, the three blades just didn't have enough bottom thrust to get the boat onto the slates fast enough with a load of 6 adults and 3 kids. I wanted to improve the low frequencies without sacrificing top speed. I decided to try this 4 blade prop as traditionally 4 blades have a better bottom end. I decided that since it was a smaller 1"โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Excellent product. What to expect from Mercury Marine. So I listened to all the hype, check out a pole aka Spitfire on YouTube. He does what he's supposed to do, accelerates faster and shoots into the hole. I would estimate 20% faster with 2 people and 30% faster with 4 people. Also, it will keep the wake on our boat at 22 mph at 2500 rpm. So when push comes to shove, it's nice to be able to plan and think about fuel economy. Our boat goes up to 50 mph at 4500 rpm on a 19 inch 3 bladed Enteriaโ€ฆ
