These discs clean well but will shed parts of the disc once you use them. Pay extra for American-made discs that clean better and don't throw dangerous projectiles into your work area.

Good for removing paint and rust from smooth metal. Performance on uneven surfaces isn't as good. You must avoid edges, corners and obstacles. I've had two instances where one of them got caught causing the coffee grinder to escape from my hands. The second time, I was slightly injured when the still-running coffee grinder fell onto my shirt sleeve. I suggest marking obstacles with blue tape to avoid this problem.

Bought three packs of five to prep my very old varnished and weatherproof deck. Fifteen discs made up about 500 square feet of flooring. I wasn't able to fully utilize the disks as my grinder had a vacuum dust cover, but they worked great.
