Looks pretty solid, I'm not afraid of breaking them. However, they are not comfortable. I almost wanted to give them two stars for their lack of comfort. Specifically the strap and basically the part that goes between the toes. I was hoping these would be my new weekend sandals, but no. At best, they're gym shower sandals. They are cheap, durable, resistant and easy to clean.

After wearing them for a week I find the flip flops as comfortable as can be. Your way is the professional against putting on and tying shoes. I think the strap (the part that slides between your 1st and 2nd ties) of the flip flops is too thick which makes walking uncomfortable. I guess I'm used to flip flops with lots of straps instead of a thick cord. Small lynxes in the house are fine, but I found it uncomfortable and almost painful to walk in for long periods of time.
