Good quality and thin enough to use on a home sewing machine

I use Quilter's Dream Request cotton for all my quilting. It holds up well and is thin enough for me to quilt blankets on my home sewing machine. This saves me a lot of money so I can buy more fabric and make more quilts!

Pros
  • Cotton
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

Wanted a thinner batting for spring and fall.

I just put on a quilt frame. I have never used this. I was looking for a lightweight blanket for spring and fall. Thought to try that. Seems to weigh less than my previous purchases. Will let you know how it works. Can't give 5 stars until I try it.

The perfect cotton batting for making quilts

I love this thin batting for making kitchen items like coasters and oven mitts. I usually put two layers of Insulbrite and one layer of cotton in my oven mitts. This thin wadding makes the product flexible enough for use in the kitchen. I also love it for wall hangings and quilts. Pros: Consistent thickness throughout - some brands are lumpy. Doesn't stretch as easily as other brands - cuts very easily and keeps its shape. Think of anyone during this time
