Easy to quilt for batting

I normally use cotton batting but wanted a warmer and bulkier quilt so I gave this one a try. It was so easy to quilt, the needle just slides through and the result is a fluffy quilt that is incredibly warm. I converted!

Pros
  • Well built
Cons

Good batting at a reasonable price

I ordered this batting for a large blanket I was sewing. I like the texture and thickness of the batting. The only downside is the wrinkling of the cotton as it shrinks in the pack.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

The seller's description is misleading.

I bought this batting because I had previous experience with Quilters Dream batting and because the description said it was "white". I was very upset to see that this is not white but a more common natural color.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

My favorite cotton

This is my favorite patchwork eyelash. It's warm, drapey and easy to work with. My long sleeve quilt loves working with this. Quilter's Dream is the first brand of cotton wool and wool cotton is one of the most beautiful. I also love their premium cotton, but here in Alaska where a warm yet light comforter is a must, I always try to pack that cotton in my comforters. It is washable, does not need to be pre-shrunk and is very quilted. If you try, you'll never go back to anything of lower…
