Through trial and error, I found that this batting is the PERFECT batting for beginners like me! It is easy to work with, holds its shape well and provides a beautiful finish to my quilts. I discovered this type of batting many years ago. I prefer to use it as it has enough thickness and density to handle a variety of stitch patterns with ease. Plus, it doesn't weigh down the comforter like heavy 80/20 cotton blends. Much nicer to deal with both the blanket and sleeping. Now many of our quilter guild are beating.

I love Quilter's Dream cotton. I have never received a defective or poor quality item. Yes, if you buy folded, there will be creases, but no lumps, no shreds, no scuffs, no blemishes - ever. I usually open a bag a few days in advance and fold it back and forth, unfold it and work on the creases (regardless of the brand). I had to choose a batting for my last quilt.
