100% cotton for sewing

Says it's 100% cotton and has no filling unlike some that have a print. The filler conforms to the description of good thickness

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Only available in white

Excellent batting

I am a quilter and only use Quilter's Dream batting and Request is the perfect loft for my quilts. I don't need heavier cotton, although I used their "Select" cotton too. Both are great.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Very expensive

Just not for my blankets again.

Too low loft. Easy to quilt, but I prefer a quilt that's light and voluminous! Might work best for wall hangings for me. Unfortunately it seems to me at least that all reviews of Revain of this brand have all the reviews so I can't identify which ones are more sublime.

Pros
  • (Natural) Queen: 108" x 93"
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Thinner than expected but ok

I am just learning to quilt and bought this crib sized blanket. I didn't really know how thick it would be but I think it will match my duvet. It's very soft and I think it will make a good baby blanket. It is easy to pin to the quilt and easy to sew. I hand quilt and my needle goes through easily. I would buy again. I've attached a picture just to give you an idea of the thickness of the batting.

Pros
  • Fabric care instructions: Machine wash cold/tumble dry low
Cons
  • Do not machine wash

A thin loft is versatile for all types of needlework.

I really like working with this thin cotton batting. Now that I've tried this cotton I won't be buying any other brand. I make a lot of small quilts like table tops and potholders. The cotton is thin enough that I could add a double layer of Insulbrite and still folds easily to take hot pots. I also use it to make microwaveable bowls. I never have to worry about the stitches in this batting. It's a big hit all round.

Pros
  • The thinnest batting for quilting
Cons
  • thin
