After trying this remote control, I can't imagine going back to life without it. The ease of use was a game-changer, especially since I regularly use my ceiling fan overnight. The white matches perfectly with my home and kitchen decor - couldn't have chosen a better option. My only critique is that the buttons could be more responsive, but have had no real issues with it.

This remote control is terrible! It's almost impossible. I have to stand up and point it at the fan within 2 feet for it to work.

A warm blurred image with the manufacturer's name does not mean a successful purchase. When you open the remote control, it contains contacts that need to be synchronized with the fan. If you buy a 4-pin remote control, it is not possible to sync the pins with a 5-pin fan. I've searched for conversion circuits and ways to equate a 4-pin remote to a 5-pin fan to no avail. It is very frustrating that the sales process has no information about remotely configurable parameters. BOW!
