Matches perfectly with the 7 inch recessed lights in our old house. We couldn't find them locally. They were easy to assemble and arrived quickly.

This 7 inch pad is perfect to replace your old aluminum pad. It came with 2 rim sizes to accommodate small differences in light cutout sizes.

Fits like a glove. Finding a 7 inch lantern fairing is not easy. My house was built in the 80's and the standard 6 inch floorboards at the hardware stores are not that size. I used a dimmable LED bulb I found at Costco for $15 and voila. Let there be light! LED light because it needs to last many years and can glow in a vaulted ceiling so a very tall ladder is required. I will sell the house before I have to change the bulb again.

If you are looking for a 7 inch gasket this is NOT for you. 7 x 7 x 5 (5 inches is the height of the sealed blocks while the short clips are only about 2.5 inches high) these aren't the right sizes. This is a short clip style. Therefore, they are returned and we return to the search. If anyone can find a sealed 7 inch lightweight finish I'd like to know where. Nevertheless, they look good in the packaging and seem to be well protected. I can't use it, but I'm sure someone else can.
