It holds up well if you bend the ends.

They do not always provide a secure fit and in most cases will come loose if handled like a regular zip tie. I find it best to fold and then be done as soon as you pull it out. Then they hold up well.

I used them to tie a pig spine to the grill.

I used them to tie a pork loin to the grill. Strange usage I know, but they worked better than expected. I was able to tighten the zippers as the pig shrank and held everything together.

These cable ties appear to be quite strong, but I had trouble tightening them. you can't just tighten them. Each time you let go, you lose tension as the ball snaps into place. I pulled the tail with pliers, inserted the pickaxe into the clasp and pushed the latch down and it worked pretty well. They have been snug on my headdress for a few months now.
