I couldn't believe how good this scraper was when I first used it. Each hit removed algae. I had serious problems with the sponge scraper I was using. It took a minute to properly attach the blade, but once it was on, the job was a breeze. I have no hesitation in giving this product 5 stars.

I read many reviews before making this purchase and I saw some that said they had problems and I don't understand why they were so negative. This is a wonderful algae scraper for my aquarium. Certainly better than any plastic scraper I see at pet stores, this is by far one of the best LG scrapers I've seen on the market. Good price for a stainless steel product!

I was frustrated with these stubborn algae that are difficult to remove in my koi tank. I was looking for a manual razor blade but found this GEM! I'm amazed I used it in my other tank which wasn't too bad and it really helped revive my cichlids. Someone mentioned that they can't use it on the rear window if it's against a wall, but I was able to. This tool is a game changer. And yes, be careful, the blade is sharp! It also comes with a set of blades and is reversible.

Comes with a box of 10 razors separate from the scraper (2 packs). There was 1 razor in the bag with the scraper. When I opened the box to count 10 razors, I counted 11, so I got a total of 12 bonus razors. I have a shrimp tank that I've been using for about a year and the magnetic scraper won't cut it anymore. I've put off buying a blade scraper but decided it was time. I didn't have to press hard to scrape off the fairly overgrown seaweed. As far as I know, it's definitely worth it.

Surprisingly easy to use. Effortlessly removes 3 months thick layers of algae that I was afraid to work with. The blade is inserted between the plates after removing the screws. Insert the screws into the plates and holes in the shaver and fasten securely. Be careful as you have exposed razor blades with this tool. The slight angle of the blade allows the blade to slide over a glass or plastic wall without scarring. Don't increase the angle. Work on the same side of the tank, not the opposite…

As always, I paid full price for this item and have nothing to do with it or anyone selling it. I'm just a consumer who likes to write reviews every now and then in case it helps someone. I'm just saying. The reason I gave it 4 stars for ease of use is because the screws holding the blade are very small and make my big ole fingers uncomfortable.
