A good shaker, the best of cocktail shakers

This. I'm happy with my decision. The device doesn't leak, I like the built-in filter and my hands don't freeze after shaking the cocktail. It doesn't look like a regular shaker, but it works!

I was not happy with this product.

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The top is very slippery, so it's quite difficult to remove. When you take it off, the grid flies out with it. I don't like that the lid and strainer are plastic. Why can't they be stainless steel like the rest of the shaker? Actually, I'm about to return.

poor design, don't buy

I have found that the mesh between the lid and base clogs easily after shaking a drink even a little foamy. Removing the cap will leave liquid on top of the filter, which will spurt out when the cap is removed. If you remove the strainer, the lid will not close and will leak when shaken. If you touch the base on the counter and wait 5 minutes before removing the lid, everything works fine. It seeped onto my arm and resisted enough to stop using it.
