Great for birds too

I use this as a "bird den" for my cockatiel. I attach him to the bottom of his cage and he likes to have a hiding place/nest. He customizes the space by cutting away the floor and some walls. I change it once a year because over time it gnaws away most of the walls. It makes him so happy it's worth it.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Not bad

My pigs love it!

My piglets love it! If they were afraid of something, the three would actually climb inside. So the shelter itself is not strong. Two parties called to hold everything not to stay in place. I had to use string to tie one of them to the base and then left the other side open as another door. I don't mind and my piglets don't care.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Disappear

My bunny loves this

My little bunny loves to sit inside, sit on it and run around when he's excited! It's roomy enough for baby Holland Lop (8 weeks old) so I hope she can fit in when she grows up. She loves to eat it and enjoys it more than any other chew toy I've given her. She gnawed a few holes in it, but it's still strong enough to support her weight from above. I will buy it again once it wears out!

A must have for guinea pigs

This product is great. I have 3-4 of these. They are durable, no question. My piggies love to eat the string that holds them together! I would recommend buying a spool of thread so you don't have to keep buying new ones and fixing the existing one as it will fall apart if they eat the thread. They are edible and keep my guinea pigs warm and happy. This is definitely her favorite place. Fits two guinea pigs.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

They like it: Houses and habitats

I have 2 rabbits. I bought this for them to snuggle up in and it's edible. You love this business. On the other hand they've almost eaten half of the thing, I've only had it 2 weeks, they actually like it better than Timothy's hay. It also falls off pretty easily because when they gnaw it they end up pulling out 2 side doors which then folds it up completely, but they also like to lie on it lol. I want it to be stronger and not foldable.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Very expensive

Bunny loves it and that says it all

My bunny liked this thing because it was comfortable like a bug inside to chew on to see if it was interesting. He also liked to jump on it to get a better vantage point when he needed to find someone or something, but other than that it didn't last as long as I thought. This lasted about 3 months when kept outside or in storage, and the rabbit jumped on it so many times that it began to collapse under its own weight. So I'd like a more permanent one that doesn't add up. That's fine, but if…

Rabbit loves but not very strong

It must be strange to think that a grass hut should be durable, but it would be nice if it didn't keep collapsing on our rabbit. She loves it and runs back and forth until it falls on her. We ordered three of these and two came with plastic ties to hold the walls together but our bunny loves to chew on everything and I'm worried about putting the plastic in the cage. We've found they usually last about two months before we have to replace them because she chews them to pieces. She obviously…

  • High test results for grip and durability

Too small for rabbits Better for guinea pigs

Rabbits will love to chew on this, but it doesn't make a good hiding spot because it's too small. My rabbits weigh two and a half pounds each and can barely fit through a large hole. The other hole is too small, I suppose they could get through if they were panicking, but they don't usually. So I left one side completely open, I used zip ties to hold the frame together because it folds so easily. And now the rabbits can use it as a shelter, still feel safe and at the same time have something to

  • Hands free

It's an edible rabbit!

It smells wonderfully of Timothy Hay - our rabbits' favorite food - as soon as I opened the package, the rabbits sniffed the air and were completely delighted! I placed it next to her cage and both of them, even the shyest ones, got up and tried to get to it! I couldn't give it five stars for durability or toughness, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I like the fact that it's made out of something bunnies find delicious lol. fasten them securely with something rabbit proof - this means…
