Don't stay cycling

These knobs look great but only one stays in place and the other rotates when you put your hand on the handlebars making it unstable. The caps at the ends don't hold up either, and when you put them on you fell off. Totally dissatisfied with this purchase.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Doesn't work

Plugs still fall off - don't buy them!

Don't buy these - I put them on, put the bike on a car stand and rode 5 miles to the ride. When I took the bike off the bike rack, the end cap fell off before my first ride. HORRIBLE design, you would think RF tested them before selling them.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Sticky and soft, end caps stink

These grips have been working great for almost a year now. Nice and sticky soft absorbing bumps. Worn very little after 10 months. Although the ends stink. They are metal and don't fit into the internal structure of the handle at all. No matter how tight you tighten them, they stay loose and eventually fall off. Love pens, hate plugs.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons

Nice update - Sport

Grips feel good! Definitely thicker, but the grip pad feels about the same as the stock. They have more stickiness, which is good. My complaint is the same as some other posts, the stub falls off. Very bad design for a great product. The solution to this problem is very simple, glue the end cap to the tabs in the cap area. Works perfectly! All in all I would recommend these pens.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • So far so good

Available in 2 sizes. Best in Parts & Components

My new favorite pens. I bought it because the color matches my color scheme on my bike, but it turned out to be the best grip I've ever had. Choice of sizes from 30mm to 33mm to meet different preferences. I chose 33 as this makes the hand pumps smaller. The level of grip and comfort was the icing on the cake. Whether you're looking for grips for comfort and traction when you lose them, or just looking for something that matches your color preferences, the Raceface grip is the right choice.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Nothing

The worst design for such a great company as RACEFACE

Worn for a month. I had to glue the metal ends because they kept falling off the bike. The mounting screws are made of such poor material that they snap off with every squeeze, making them impossible to remove unless you pry them open, rendering them useless. I changed the handlebars and am now buying other grips to replace these. If you buy these I suggest using either rubber ends or super glue. The metal ends also get scratched easily. Keep an eye on the screws because you will tear them off.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Protection

Sturdy handle, looks good!

I love this grip! Very strong, won't slip on the handlebars (don't overtighten, the end will snap or you'll tear off the bolt). It's a little rough and sticks well to bare hands, but that's okay. When wearing gloves, this grip is very comfortable for large hands. It was also a fun addition to complete some small style updates. The end caps are partially covered with rubber for an attractive look. The end caps are a bit shiny and seem prone to dents and scratches. (Started bringing a small sockโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

Durable, comfortable and easy to grip.

I bought these grips for my XC trail bike about a year ago and they are holding up well. I have to say there is a bit of wear and tear, but I expected that from the sticky mix these grips used to be made of. broke out in a sweat and was caught in the rain. These grips are very comfortable to hold, there is no cramping feeling when overcoming hard descents. I've had 2 or 3 good falls in a couple of side impacts into some trees and I thought the end caps would come off but to my surprise noโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Non automatic
