Great product for cycling

These Race Face Ride Pedals are great. They sit comfortably on your shoes and have a great platform feel. I have Chester pedals on my MTN bike and I build them on my gravel bike. I recommend Race Face to everyone.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not sure

Great intermediate pedal

Replaced the stock pedals on my Trek Marlin 8 MTB with these pedals. They offer a bit more pin sticking action, which is enough to add some stability without tearing your body in the event of a fall with the metal screws in the pins. I put them on all my MTBs.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Not for long distances, best for sports

I bought these pedals as an alternative to stubby boots for highway driving. They are not intended for long-term repeated use. They began to make a loud crunch when stressed. They're probably great for the occasional short trip, but I wouldn't recommend them for trips of 25 miles or more.

They hurt my feet :(

I bought these pedals to use indoors on the MTB I use for Zwift. I wear training shoes. After a few weeks, the soles of my feet started to hurt when walking ...The plastic "spikes" on the pedals stick out very far and we create pressure points on my feet, and my feet kept slipping on the pedals.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great pedal - Sport

I really like pedals that don't tear my shins. Plastic tabs hold up well and feel better against the skin. They don't grip like metal insoles, but they do the job quite well. If you're a competitive or very aggressive driver, they don't fit. I'm a moderate mountain biker with some advanced trails. I can recommend these pedals.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Disappears

how do you rate it

I did not receive the pedals I ordered - they were RaceFace Ride pedals - the label on the box was wrong. Printing on the box indicates the pedal is something other than an attraction, but a sticker on the box, likely used for inventory purposes, indicates the pedal is an attraction. The pedals sent aren't bad, but this isn't a ride pedal. I hate giving him low stars, but I also hate giving him high stars.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • no instructions

Had to be serviced after 3 months of operation.

I've had these pedals for 3 months now and have ridden them about 400 miles. I love that they provide a large platform for my 10.5ft. I like plastic cleats that don't bite my ankle like metal cleats. Last week one of the pedals started clicking, the bearings were really loosening. I disassembled it to clean and oil, not that it was dirty inside. I ended up having to tighten it enough to tighten enough to take the game out. During today's ride, the other pedal also started to click. We'll haveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Won't snap your shins

I love raceface peddlers. At the same time, Raceface Chesters will devour your shins like a rabid raccoon. If you're not into serious off-roading or driving in mud or snow, try these traction pedals. They don't have screws to create a glued-to-shell feel, but they're great for commuting or riding the railroad tracks without shedding skin or ripping your pants on days when it's too cold for shorts. on the Aventon Pace 500 e-bike. They look great and work great. The only bad thing I can report is

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I don't have any negative feelings about it, everything's fine
