Put it on my kid's bike

My daughter rides the Cannondale Trail 20 and it has very small pedals, almost uncomfortable. I swapped her out for these and she immediately felt more comfortable. I hope they hurt her shins less when she eats them than the metal pull pins on the "adult" pedals.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Good Pedal - Parts & Components

I bought these for my friend's old mountain bike that I was converting. They look good and feel pretty solid. However, more of a pedal suitable for everyday use than aggressive driving. Plastic pens hold well, but not as well as metal pens. I would recommend them for kids bikes, commuter bikes or someone just starting to ride. They will save you from the scars that metal pins can leave.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I love the color and the pedals work well.

I was surprised my expensive new mountain bike didn't come with pedals, but I added some personality to my bike with these pedals. They match my outfit and make the bike unique. Persistent, but not so severe that I couldn't just rip my legs off. The bike shop advised me to buy bikes with metal grips, but everyone I know with these have scratched or torn clothing. Got it!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Functionality

Expensive nylon pinless pedals, great grip but weak graphics

Slightly more expensive and much cheaper black medal pedals. Durable nylon and good grip on the platform pedal without a medal. Easier on your shins and pants when your shoes slip. The graphics are weak and for the money you could use some kind of accent color. The weight is accurate. Not sure if the bearings will hold up in heavy dirt or long commutes but on my ski bike I expect them to last a very long time.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some problems

Less shin/calf damage

I have a pair of Chesters on my bike, they are great. But after seeing my son bloody his shins/calfs on several bike rides when my 8 year old daughter needed new pedals for a hike, I went with them. They are way better than the starter pedals without piercing their legs. They may not hold up as well as those with metal spikes, but she's not ready for hard trails where her legs can loosen. And she's biting the pink pedals on her new bike!

Pros
  • Fewer competitors
Cons
  • Disappearance

Solid pedals with good large contact area

These pedals were a nice improvement over the cheap stock pedals I had on my commuter bike. They're definitely an improvement in terms of comfort as they put less pressure on my toes compared to the more traditional pedals I've used before. They stick pretty well too. Maybe not as good as a real mountain bike pedal, but since I rarely ride off-road, that's quite enough. Overall this is a wonderful pair of pedals for the price and definitely worth upgrading if your bike is currently fitted with…

Good quality and bright colors

Marked L and R, these pedals are easy to assemble. They look amazing on my bike and add a contrasting color to the monochromatic frame. We mainly ski green and blue runs and they handle bumps and jumps. What I would change would be to add a few more ribs for the legs. I specifically bought the option without the metal pins because my shins were clogged and I knew the grip wasn't going to be as good, but my feet still slide a little more than I expected. Overall I would definitely buy again in…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Crumpled

The color is absolutely strong!

I've been using a pair of Raceface Chesters on my e-bike for a few months and have only one complaint about them. I don't like screws because they rust. I can't understand why the Chester didn't use better nuts/bolts. But since I ride mostly in the city, the grip of the screws is too strong. I don't need as much pedal stroke as other people, so I absolutely love the Ride pedals. The tongues are not overly aggressive and will be much more comfortable on my Nikes while still preventing the shoe…
