Very nice for kitchen and dining room

I've only been using this set for 3 weeks but so far so good. My main concern was that the bottom of the pots wouldn't scratch my glass top. They seem fine, they have a rib at the bottom but it's very smooth. I love their lightness and the turquoise color is so cool! I compare the price to several other retailers and no one can beat Revains price. I also love how easy they are to clean!

Pros
  • One year sample
Cons
  • Nothing

NOT WORTH - Kitchen and Dining

Two items were scratched when unpacked. Ok, I called Amazon and they refunded part of the purchase price. I kept using them. There was this odd mark on the eyelids that caused water to pool on the underside. Ok, keep using it. ALL now have huge scratches with rusting, less than a year has passed. The last straw was after I bought a new oven. Now I have a glass plate. You scratched the hob the first time you used it. DONE! Don't buy them if you have a glass cooktop, don't buy them unless you…

  • Useful for more than intended purpose

Good dishes but with care!

I needed new cookware and checked out Revain. Stumbled across information explaining the different types of cookware and what to expect. I'm not a gourmet chef but wanted better quality than what I had. I was surprised at the size of the two smaller pans - they seem on the small side, but they actually hold more than they seem. The outer surface is very delicate and I got a few scratches pretty quickly. High heat is recommended not to be used for too long and I've noticed slight discoloration…

Pots must withstand heat and boiling!

I was further annoyed, I cannot list them on this occasion. I've just had this set delivered and am considering returning it without unpacking. I bought these to replace a set of "green pans" that are discolored and cooking horribly. They also warn against using cooking sprays and cooking over medium-low heat. If that information had been in the description, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. I need pans that can handle some heat (ever heard of Rachel's scalds?!) and don't require a…

Scratched and cracked glass on the stove!

I love the look of these pots and pans but this is my second cooker in 4 months. And it scratches too. The latter started with scratches and led to complete cracks. I didn't realize it was the pots and pans until I replaced them and the first night I cooked on the new stove I found everything clogged again! Now I have to buy other pans because my return period has expired. These pans have a very sharp edge on the bottom and I suspect that is what caused the damage to the top of the oven. They…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Chips in the non-stick coating

After the first use I noticed two scratches on the non-stick coating. I have not used any abrasive cleaners when cooking or cleaning these new pots and pans. This leads me to believe they were microchipped on arrival. Whether it happened after a single use, with non-abrasive utensils, or poor quality sponges. I was very disappointed as I loved my first set of Rachael Ray hard anodized cookware. I had it a long time ago, I was hoping for the same quality from this new set. Also, the bottom of…
