no label or indication that it is 18/10 or 18/8 stainless steel

(away from Teflon). I've learned that 18/8 and 18/10 stainless steel has an acceptable balance of nickel and chromium (which is bad for you in high doses). However, when my pots arrived they had no label or indication in the instructions or packaging saying they were 18/10 or 18/8 quality. This is disappointing as I intentionally make it more health conscious but have no guarantee of their quality. If you're buying them for the same reason, I suggest you consider other options.

I've waited almost two months to write a review because I wanted it to be after serious use. I've used every pot and pan. I'm a serious cook. I cook like restaurant chefs. All dishes that call for a vigorous spicy roast get it. I braised the roast and slow cooked the stew. I moved the pan from the stove to the oven. I even forgot some boiling water once, and it boiled away and overheated the pan. Due to Covid we never eat out. I use them every day. 7 weeks later they still look like I just…

ABOUT STAINLESS STEEL COOKWARE IN GENERAL: If you don't want to sear your pot (yes, you can sear stainless steel), I recommend getting at least one Teflon frying pan for things like eggs. Teflon is safe and does not release harmful toxins unless scratched, marred, or cooked at temperatures above 392°F [PTFE pyrolysis has ONLY been found above 200°C (392°F)].
