My puppies seem to love this food!

Ever since I made the decision to switch to a healthier diet, I've been having trouble getting my picky puppies to eat. They absorb it much faster than other brands I've tried with similar ingredients. Delivery was quick. The only thing that could improve the situation is the availability of different flavors in puppy food. Will probably order again in the future.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Puppy came up to me and ate Nutrish so I finished the bag before moving on. I would recommend two other lines instead of this one at any time. Personally, I don't feed foods containing corn, wheat or soy. There is corn here. One thing I liked was the tiny kibbles for my little chihuahua. If you are looking for inexpensive food try Pro Pac, Victor or Fromm. Some are all life stages that are good for older puppies.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

My vet was right, not the best choice.

After using this product for about three weeks, my puppy suddenly lost interest in it, resulting in an episode of excessive vomiting followed by a day of lethargy and refusal to eat. After reading some of the negative reviews I was concerned that this particular bag was in a "bad batch". This prompted me to switch him to other food, which he was visibly excited about. I'd recommend saving yourself the trouble (and dog poo) and going for the other option, dog mom and dad.

Pros
  • Shipping was very fast
Cons
  • Negative experience

The hungry rescue dog spat and refused more.

Bought for our new lifeguard who was thrown out of the litter very early and was found skin and bones on the streets of Texas. 8-10 week old labrador terrier mix weighed 12 pounds. This little girl got off to a rough start and is protective of the food. She refuses to eat this food. Literally bit off a chunk and spat most of it on the floor. Wouldn't eat anything else. Everything else she tried and enjoyed. Like a little girl in the big world of good food who never has to worry about eating…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Puppy got rickets

We tried this food in our last rescue round because it was cheaper than what we usually buy - BIG MISTAKE. The rescued puppy got rickets and fed him this food (we always leave a full bowl), according to our vet there is not enough food in it. Dogs need more than "just chicken and rice" in their diet to LIVE. Such a horrible experience, we will never use this meal as our salvation again. FALSE advert if you have a bag mix it with a scientific diet for your pup's health we also ended up buying…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Trust me when I say - I'm a huge fan of Rachel Ray - but so far she hasn't Change the recipe - I'm not risking my pup's life. From Forbes 6/28/19: Topline: Amid an ongoing investigation by the Food and Drug Administration into a possible link between heart disease in dogs and "grain-free" dog food, often containing "legumes." like peas and lentils,” the FDA listed the 16 pet food brands most frequently cited in FDA reports. The most commonly cited brands in FDA reports are: Acana (67)…

  • Permanent Test Results
