This chopping board is not for cutting only for viewing as it hangs on the wall. Maybe that's why Rachel Ray added a string for hanging. When actually cutting, the wood is too soft, the knife sinks in and permanently scratches the wood deeply. This is for display purposes only, not for cutting.

I like it a lot. He is very handsome and he is fat. The only reason I gave it 5 stars is because it shows knife marks very easily. I've had it for a little over a month now and it's so cut. I always use wooden cutting boards and this is the only thing that has made this so bad.

First, the description says the board is 1.9 inches thick. The inaccuracy of this statement is almost ridiculous. The boards are twice as thick. I certainly can't justify more stars. The board is great overall. Beautiful acacia with rich colors and tones, but I can't stand sellers who can't use accurate information.

Love love love this cutting board. I should have 5 or 6 different boards but I always go for this one. This is the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. Just right for work. It looks great and is very practical with a leather loop for hanging and portability and storage. Always at a distance. Very durable and looks long lasting even though I use it many times a day.

I bought it because of the size and thickness. He said the thickness is 1.9 which is 3/4 inch. I expected about 2 inches. Other boards said they were less than an inch tall. It's 14 inches long but only 10.5 wide, not 11 inches as advertised. did not want the heat to be transferred. I will not be returning it as nothing else was the size I wanted. I'll make sure it works.

Haven't really used it yet, bought it on a trip to the US so it's now packed in a shopping cart to ship to me in the Caribbean. . It looks great and I can't imagine it wouldn't hold up well. This is a really nice chopping board that I wanted and it's a good in-between size when I don't need a large chopping board. We have cutting boards made of rubber or other material, but I don't like them at all, I prefer wood.

Pros: Looks good straight away. It's a thick wood so it shouldn't snap in half like some of my old thin cutting boards. The hole and leather strap are perfect for hanging on a pot rack (reducing clutter in my closets). It's a good size but not too big (it would be awkward to hang anything bigger). It's heavy enough not to move when cutting. My board came pre-treated with mineral oil which saved me quite a bit of trouble. Cons: No grooves to collect liquid (but you can see that from the picture,
