This is a good tool - the end of its hook looks brittle but it stayed straight and stiff throughout my use (maybe 20 or 30 staples). The finish on the tool wasn't the best - I suspect it was stamped out and I found the edges in profile to be square and uncomfortably sharp. Being me, I went over the edges with 80 grit sandpaper to smooth them out to my liking before using.
