Never post reviews, leave a review for those looking for.

Never leave a review but have decided to leave a review for those looking for a suitable sun visor clip for Uniden R3. As others have said, this clip will help you remove a small amount of material from the part that goes into the device. I used a dremel but a hand file will do. Once you've removed enough material, the clip will snap into place.

Pros
  • Visor bracket is only compatible with Radenso XP and Radenso SP radar detectors
Cons
  • not sure

Fits Uniden R3, R1

This particular bracket fits Uniden R3 and R1 radar detectors. It is very tight when plugged into the detector, so the issue of it not "snapping" into the ledge inside the radar detector is not a problem for me. The radar detector does not move / rattle / rotate / slide out of the bracket when mounted on the visor. It does its job well and doesn't require a lot of metal grinding. Due to the price being $20 at the time of writing this review I didn't give all 5 stars.

Pros
  • Frontfit
Cons
  • Drill Pack

Kind of useless (

It's mild steel and bends easily, but also bends back easily enough and it breaks. Worst ( According to the price. waaaaaay overpriced. It costs about $0.50 to make. Fifty cents. Not fifty bucks. I know the detector. That makes it IN-convenient rather than convenient. Thing will definitely hang in there (until the metal gets tired and loose ), but you can't turn off my (or, I'm guessing, many other) detectors. I won't. It's up to me. I should have known better. I knew better. She also doesn't…

Pros
  • Pushes the block right up against the sun visor
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something there
