Ideal for me the best in Lap Desks

I have 2 of these iLaps. One for my 15" MacBook Pro and one for my 13" MacBook Air. I bought both in 2015. You're still in great shape. I use a 15" iLap every day. It fits perfectly, especially when you're sitting in a comfy chair with your legs up. Sometimes I use it when I'm watching TV. Since it's been used so much, after about 4, 5 years old so dirty I replaced it The iLap has replaceable front pads but there is no way to replace the rear pad Luckily the rear pad doesn't get dirty like the…

Good but could work better

The slogan on the box reads "Stay cool. Not much. The cushions are thick and covered with black velvet. It's on my lap right now and it's very warm. I bought it for a disabled person so she doesn't have to hold the laptop with one hand to keep it on her lap. But since she can't regulate her body temperature and gets either freezing or boiling hot at any moment, she can't use it as is. Unfortunately, the cover is not removable, so I cannot change the cover of the pad. So if I can't think of…

Unfortunately I really do find this iLap to be almost perfect

I really wanted to hate that Macbook Air stand because it's so ridiculously expensive, but the fact of the matter is that it's almost perfect. The only problem with this I can see is that the front pillow doesn't stretch out wider and digs into my forearms a bit. I think this problem gets worse the higher the user level. I'm 6ft 1in tall but if I had broader shoulders or was a drug addict the problem would be worse. Either way, the iLap outperforms the standless alternative. I find it…

I just love this iLap stand. I ordered the 13-inch size shortly after receiving my 13.3-inch MacBook Pro in November (which I love too!). The stand is attractive, has a therapeutic design, is very light and well built, keeps you cool and fits my Mac Pro perfectly. I love that its unique design means I can use it on my desk or on my lap (which I do most of the time) with the same ease and less strain on my wrists, neck and shoulders. has a detachable palm rest with soft lining and velvety…

Impressive! - Desk Accessories & Workplace Organizers

I've been using my Mac for 3 years now. A few months ago my computer started overheating after a few minutes. It got so hot I could hear the computer fans running at full speed. Since then I have tried 3 computer cooling pads and ThermaPak cooling. Some of them barely work. After trying unsuccessfully to find a product to cool my computer, I decided to try this product from Rain Design. I was very skeptical because the heatsink goes through the aluminum and the price was a bit over my budget. I

do yourself a favor; Stop Hot Mac Legs

Much better now! Obviously the team that designed this product and its packaging came from Apple and were working on the smallest details every waking minute. You deserve some kind of award. Beautiful in every way, down to the tactile qualities of the stand, its box and its contents. This thing looks amazing and makes my Mac 1000% more comfortable to use. This stand absorbs enough heat under HEAVY workloads to keep Mac fans from exploding at jet engine noise levels for up to about 20 minutes of

Fantastic product with a small crease.

After losing my previous iLap in the Baton Rouge flood last month (among almost all of my possessions), I flirted a bit with the competitor's aluminum model, which was collapsible. The problem with the Vogek was that while it's the perfect solution for working on a flat surface, it keeps folding back into the position I mostly use my laptop in, on my lap! Over the years I have purchased two padded wrist pads as replacements. Like most velor products, they tend to flatten and shine with…

Nice, but could work better

The slogan on the box reads "Stay cool. Stay cool." Wherever you are." Not very. The cushions are thick and covered in black velvet. It lies straight on my lap and it's very warm. I bought it for a disabled person so she couldn't use the laptop with one hand has to hold to keep it on her lap. But since she can't regulate her body temperature and will either be freezing cold or boiling hot at any moment, she can't use it as is. After losing my previous iLap in the Baton Rouge flood last month (along with nearly all my belongings), I briefly flirted with a competitor's aluminum model that folds flat.
