🚿 ALFI brand RAIN12S - 12" Square Ultra Thin Rain Shower Head, Brushed Stainless Steel Review

Nice and easy to install. I almost bought a much more expensive rain head but figured for the price I'd give this guy a shot. I've only used it once but it worked great. Both at low and high pressure. If it breaks before the year is out I will update this post, otherwise I fully recommend it. I had another rain shower head from a "famous brand" that broke after 1 year and cost 5 times as much. Even if I have to change this guy every few years, I'm happy.

We love our rain head! This is the perfect size, almost the same size as the ceiling tiles. It doesn't seem to use as much water as the high pressure shower heads and is very relaxing. Our remodeler installed it using a small 1" piece he bought at a local plumbing store - we wanted it to be almost flush with our ceiling so it looked the closest to rain. He said the installation is very easy. Our only complaint is that the water doesn't seem to come out of every hole.

I have an architectural firm and have used it on many of our projects and I bought one for my own use. However, they look great and have a nice rainy feel. none have lasted more than 13 months including mine. The seams burst on the side, water splashes everywhere. This is a very expensive item for such a short lifespan and customers were very dissatisfied. There are much cheaper rain shower heads that will last you for years. One word to describe it, "junk", don't waste your money.

When I was adding a bathroom to my home I knew I needed a rainfall shower head, but when I looked for options they cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars. This shower head looked good in my spare bathroom. I don't use it often because it's in the guest room. In the five years I've owned it, it's probably been used less than 10 times. I have a diverter in my shower that supplies water to a much more commonly used hand held shower head. We've had this shower head for just over four years now. I see it's on sale now for over $100, but I don't think we paid that much for it. I like the style of this shower head, very thin, I installed it close to the ceiling (with a 1.5" brass nipple) and it looks great. This showerhead doesn't have a water restrictor, nor does it have an aerator (to fill air bubbles like some of the newer water-saving showerheads). Purchased 14th February 2014 It's possible I was one of the first to purchase this. I bought this along with a 16 inch shower arm. I may need to replace the clutch holding the head to my hand. But the head itself is holding up very well. Real stainless steel doesn't rust, it doesn't usually rust, it corrodes. Corrosion is usually caused by hard water. Now 11/19/2016.
