Works well but wireless charging is questionable

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with a Spigen case. It doesn't charge in the case so I have to take it off to charge which is a problem. I haven't tried other cases to see if this is better. However, I prefer this mount to the traditional X mount. It does not interfere with the buttons and is very convenient. But it's too expensive for what it is.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

I like everything about the mount, but it's important to know that using map navigation with the screen on will still drain your battery. I did an 8 hour drive with the navigation on almost all the time and had 49% battery left at the end of the drive. Not bad for a Pixel 4XL, but it's important to start your journey with a full battery.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

Ideal for users of large phones that need wireless charging.

Bought because a couple of my buddies had an original RAM holder and figured why not. Having an LGV60 I wanted to make sure I didn't have to worry about safety. This mount is beyond secure and the ram mounts are very secure. I gave it a 3 for durability as I didn't have enough time to give a good idea but I'll update it in a while.

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Almost never

Requires patch cord hole and special phone case

I listen to audio books while driving my truck. I need to use a patch cord. And there is no hole at the bottom of this cable holder, and then the phone will be high charged. Not only does the holder cost $120 +/-, I had to ditch my $50 Otter case and buy a $55 longer lifetime board case to use wireless charging. Makes me shake my head! Live a holder when all the planets are aligned.

Pros
  • Testers give high marks for support and durability
Cons
  • Expensive

2k miles and a full charge

Great hopes were placed and it came true. What I really like about this product is that the phone is incredibly easy to put in and take out. For me, it's the one-handed operation, as opposed to the Ram X-Mount's awkward two-handed operation. I was a little weary about whether the mount had enough downforce to keep my phone in place off-road, and it did. I never used the extra seat belt on my back. It's a little bulky so if you have a cramped cabin you might struggle, but I mounted it on the…

No more plugging in cables every time you get in and out

FINALLY! I've wanted one of these since RamMount announced them. Initially, availability was very limited. The cradle does not press the buttons on the side of the phone. You can quickly reach or take out the phone with one hand. Wireless charging so combined with wireless Android Auto I don't have to connect a cable to my phone at all. Compatible with the regular RamMount ball system, was an easy replacement for my X-grip. The ConsLED is a bit bright so I had to use Sharpie to avoid…
