We built it into a black granite countertop that sits flush with the countertop so the countertop hides the hob. The only downside is that I would like the power to go from 1-10 instead of 1-8, which can result in better "low" heat.

Ordered this hob on October 25, 2015. Last week (May 2017) the rear hob started giving an error and doesn't work with the same pans I've been using since the beginning. The front hob will now beep while cooking. The unit worked fine prior to these failures, but 18 months is a short lifespan for a dual induction cooktop that cost me over $400. I didn't even get 18 months of use because it took over a month to install the outlet. Please note that this review has been updated.

This is exactly what I was looking for to use as an extra hob in our kitchen renovation project. There are very few induction cooktops with two burners. I was very hesitant to order this as there was only one review on Revain. I am very happy with this item. This works very well. Unfortunately, the two burners are very close together, so the simultaneous use of both burners is limited to two small pots. But if you use a frying pan or large pot, everything works great.
