Do Not Buy! I bought it in April 2018 and on June 8th the black plastic clasp fell apart. Luckily the mechanic who changed my oil noticed this before something terrible happened! I want my $ back!

Works and looks great, it was a lot of patient work. If you have big hands, forget it and find a mechanic with small hands. For real. The latches on the viewfinder are difficult to make, had to be installed with a 1/4 bit set. You can move a few things that are standing in your way to help. If you have the tools you should be able to install them.

Quality product, looks good on my jeep. Installing the bottom latch is a trick, remove the grille and use a short or angled wrench to tighten the nuts. The supplied bolts for the upper latch are welded to the sheet metal and angled, simply insert into the latch holes. It took maybe 45 minutes and I'm not responsible for Motörhead.

This is a very good product but difficult to install without the right tools and very little space to do so. I would recommend taking it to a professional or dealer for installation (parts may have been removed to make room for fasteners). The instructions are ok, but could be more detailed. It states that the particular model has "stoppers" which I didn't see on the packaging or on the old clasps, but the clasps work fine. A little worried it might be "metal on metal".
