IMPROVED HANDLING AND PERFORMANCE -- Cross Tuned technology featuring exclusive rebound valving system and advanced compression phase improves overall handling and performance on and off road. MINIMIZES ROUGH RIDE -- Exclusive Progressive Engagement Valving is custom-tuned for each vehicle to help reduce initial impacts at low speeds and minimizes a rough ride. STRONG AND DURABLE -- Features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs & corrosion, double-welded loops at stress areas, 35mm sintered iron piston for enhanced structural integrity and polyvinyl protective boot. HANDLES EXTREME TEMPERATURE CHANGES -- Large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid allows for cooler operation, increased vehicle control and ability to withstand internal temperatures of -40 to 248°F. Broke in less than 4 months

Didn't last 4 months before one broke. Switch to Bilstein. I have a work truck and rarely drive my personal truck. This probably happened after less than 1500 miles.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

Rancho RS5000X RS55287 stuck

One of two Rancho RS5000X RS55287 for 2016 F150 stuck in 17 months and 8-10,000 miles. The back of the application, rubber boots, mixed towing and commuting, total mileage of 15k. The mechanic told me it was filled with water (frozen January cold in MA). So my guess is that the o-ring has ruptured. Never had such a breakdown and never in such a short time in 40 years of driving a car. Bought in August 2019.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

GARBAGE! fits shock absorbers

Thought I'd try them and be cheap** and save some money compared to buying Bilstein 5100s. Well, I was wrong! They worked right out of the box and were hard to squeeze, so I figured they would tighten the back of the truck. Well, after 2 months they were already out of order. I noticed fluid leaking out of the shock and when I removed it the shock didn't even fully extend. do yourself a favor and buy a bilstein 5100s. Stay away from Rancho products.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
