🗺️ Rand McNally Road Explorer 60 GPS: Your Ultimate Navigation Companion Review

I bought this as a GPS for trucks but it's a GPS for small cars. And it was also placed on your network by the truck's GPS. So I didn't like it at all.

I would like a truck (18 wheeler) because now I have to spend money on the one I have AND the maps are outdated and they need to be up to date because I just bought it last month

Stay away from Rand McNally, they promise lifetime tickets and give you nothing. I've had this device for over a year and not a single map update. They fool people with claims like award-winning and licensed truckers. But GPS, like everyone else, is slow and most of the promised features don't work.

I purchased this RE 60 direct from Rand MacNally over a year ago to replace my TomTom which was great but ran out of memory to fit all of the US. The RE 60 worked fairly well for several months, delivering updates via its "docking station". I kept everything up to date. But for a few months now, the current speedometer has stopped working.
