I'm glad they released the Mini. I'm on a budget so getting all the colors would be quite expensive if I bought the full size. As I don't usually work on large projects I find this gives enough color if I want to use it as a watercolor without wasting ink. I don't actually stamp it because the image doesn't really get sharp, but when I do it's usually because I don't need a sharp image. I bought these because I saw Shari Carroll's tutorial video on You Tube where you can use a smaller area of the ink pad (compared to larger ones) Apply ink directly to stamps and have more control over where you can apply different colors and I was blown away by how well it came out. I've tried printing stamps with large ink pads, but the opacity was never good enough. I think the secret was how she sprinkled a little bit of water on the image before stamping it.
