Well it says it because when we see the first picture shown it has a DC symbol on it which I think was placed there on purpose to refer to the Thoughts to point out that this meter can measure direct current, but no, it doesn't. The description does not mention it and when you receive it you can compare that the first picture shown on the Revain website does not match the real one and does not even show the DCM10004 model.

I really like this clamp meter. Accuracy seems pretty good even with less than one amp. I compared it to my Klein MM700 and found that they mostly match. Audio continuity is fast and responsive. I used my Klein for most things before I got this meter, now INGCO is my measuring tool. The only thing I don't like about this clamp meter is the backlight, it only stays on for about 15 seconds at a time and then you have to press the button again to turn it back on.

I didn't realize how tiny this thing is until I got it. It is so tiny compared to an industrial counter. The meter measures well in wired measurement mode but has many variations in current clamp mode. The reading varies by 5% depending on the position of the wire in the terminal. Normally the center of the clamp should be the calibrated spot, but the reading was closest to the actual value when the wire was near the tip of the clamp. I bought this meter specifically to be able to measure DC current with a clamp. It's surprisingly accurate for that. I've double-checked it with a built-in ammeter that I trust, and after properly zeroing the clamp meter, it's almost exactly the line current (typically +/- 1 digit). This applies to currents > 5 A and also to currents in the 10-50 mA range. The last one was a pleasant surprise. First I would like to say something about the accuracy. Compared to some other voltmeters, the INGCO volt measurements were the same (cable measurement). I'll take that as it's pretty accurate. Tick measurements are somewhat unstable. The current on the display can jump from zero to 0.06A on its own with no wire in the middle of the clamp.
