Works fine for me. good for pliers

I use them for fresh water and they are very good. Traction Hook, Cutting Mono (6lb to 30lb), Buckshot Extrusion, Spike Extrusion.

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • doubt

No problem. Best of the needle nose pliers

I use them to pull out hooks to get perch back in the water. Take it easy and do the work. Also handy for cutting lines. I would be lost without her.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Buy something else!

I have a pair of stainless steel tongs that I use for deboning salmon and I wanted a second pair of tongs for fishing but they are no longer made so I gave them a try. send them back. The problem is that they don't close at the tip - to the point where they won't snag on a fishhook. So they might be ok if you don't need to close them completely, but to me they don't even deserve the 1 star minimum.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Weight

Rapala 6 1/2 Fishing Pliers

These are regular pliers. You have trouble crimping small to medium sized hooks. But I'm good at crimping big hooks. If you don't need to crimp medium or smaller hooks, these pliers will work for you. They're pretty well built. It would be nice if they had a way to attach a rope to it or something.

Pros
  • Needle Nose Pliers
Cons
  • Expensive

Expected more from the name

I love Rapala baits and have used them for many years. Knowing the quality there, I bought these pliers. Unfortunately, that didn't convince me. The cutting blade is so soft that the first time you cut the hook it will dent the surface. I ended up having to bend the metal multiple times to break it. The dents now make it impossible to cut the line, so I have to go back to my scissors or multi-tool to do that. They are spring loaded so they are always open. Very convenient to use but there is no
