🔓 Unleash Your Creativity with the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Board Review

I received it the next day as promised. It's nice to buy a board at a price close to what it should be. For those of us who already have all the peripherals, it's nice to be able to get a Pi3board without anyone trying to track down the $20 scalper fee.

I don't know if it's the smell of a new computer circuit board or if I toasted it when I opened the box. It was shipped from the UK. It really works. and loaded with a 32 GB micro SD card. The case I bought had the fan dead. So I put it in a case where the fan is running. But the board overheated after about 15 minutes so I unplugged it. 1.2GHz works fine and fast on my T-1 line but still smells. I will stick with Pi 3 B+ as 1.4 works better.

These motherboards are amazingly full of potential (haha, look what I made there). I would give 3.14 stars but it's not a very good rating. I would only do it because it's Pi (ha, got it). I don't often make dollars, but I always have a purpose (ha ha ha, I can't be stopped).

not for beginners. Installing the operating system and everything is easy, but other aspects are more problematic. I set it up with Retropue and made changes to run all the emulators I wanted. Works amazing.

Amazing little Pi made in UK is rare here in the States as we mostly get Chinese made element14 Raspberry Pi. A quick note for everyone: The Raspberry Pi Foundation has several contractors who build Pis for them for various markets. As far as I know the Raspberry Pi is manufactured in 3 countries, stamped United Kingdom (UK), stamped in People's Republic of China (PRC) and stamped in Japan (Japan). I definitely did NOT get what I expected. See photo of what I received. Maybe the original version of Model B? Absolutely no Raspi 3 B. Very disappointed. The packaging says Made in China but the description says Made in UK.

I love my Raspberry Pi. I use it in my 3D printing endeavors. It works perfectly. I've learned a few things, but Windows doesn't like working with programs and some of the online tutorial videos can be quite advanced. I ended up connecting the Pi to my TV via the HDMI port and my issues were resolved. I could then turn it off and move it to where I wanted it. Even if I should have a full 3 volts to power the Pi, I still get a notification that it's not getting enough power. It works flawlessly.
