Amazing little Pi made in UK is rare here in the States as we mostly get Chinese made element14 Raspberry Pi. A quick note for everyone: The Raspberry Pi Foundation has several contractors who build Pis for them for various markets. As far as I know the Raspberry Pi is manufactured in 3 countries, stamped United Kingdom (UK), stamped in People's Republic of China (PRC) and stamped in Japan (Japan). Now Japanese Pis designed in Japan are only available on the market, making them extremely rare. Now British Pis are mainly for European markets, while Chinese Pis are mainly sold in Asia and America, making it more cost-effective for the Pi Fund. Some people say the UK Pi is better, others say the PRC Pi is better, in fact they are all the same as all the components are from the same parts supplier, the only difference is where they were assembled. In my opinion I've never had an issue with a PRC Pi, or the same goes for UK builds, but I love knowing that I have an RS UK Pi from the home country of Raspberry Pi. So all in all a great little SBC with great Raspberry Pi support can't go wrong, great for beginners and super users just love these things now all I have to do is buy a Japanese Raspberry Pi.
