Works perfectly. best jewelry making tools and supplies

The stretched ring worked great, was able to slowly stretch the ring to the right size and stretched it in just a short amount of time.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Works like a champ - bead and jewelry making

Stretched a fairly thick mens silver ring from 11 to 12 and increased some womens rings by about a half size lol. I had a tiny jeweler's hammer, but I bought a fairly large plastic hammer for a men's ring as the smaller one just couldn't cut it.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Periodicity

Stretched ring 2 sizes

It took me a while to figure out exactly how it worked but once I did it worked great. Stretched my gold engagement ring 2 sizes, maybe more. The jeweler price is over $100 for a 2 size upgrade and the best part is I still have that for other rings. I wish I knew this thing existed a long time ago!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Limited portable use

It works and with little effort. But the cost savings over standard tensioners/reducers isn't worth it. It won't help you stretch better than just banging a coin (coin ring) on a jeweler's mandrel. A good item if you're at a craft or trade fair, but normal everyday use is limited.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Some cons

Did the best job in the jewelry making tools and supplies category

Pays for itself with one use. Stretched a 10k gold engagement ring to fit better. I don't have a size gauge so can't tell for sure how much it stretched, maybe half a size. Roundness has also been restored. Obviously not for rings with stones or complicated weak spots. Comes with a nylon base which appears to be more durable than the wooden base pictured. YouTube videos show how to use it, but it's not hard to figure out just by looking at it. You need a mallet or small mallet or whatever to…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Might have to skip this - design flaw

This ring brace appears to be made of fairly soft metal that deforms easily when struck with a hammer. The tapered metal rod seems too thick in diameter to dip into. completely to the outside. Therefore, when the ring is stretched, it only goes in halfway. This is a problem because without special tools it will be almost impossible to tap and disconnect from the outside. a matching taper on the inner metal rod so that when it is inserted / fully engaged into the outer part, the end on the other

Cons
  • Long delivery time
