The I60 wind display provides accurate wind speed and direction information. wind speed is displayed in either Knots, MS per second or as beau fort scale values. wind direction is Indicated on the I60 wind's 360 degree apparent wind direction scale (0-180 degrees, port and starboard). Additional I60 wind displays including close hauled wind displays can be added as repeaters. Poor customer service

This was the wrong model for my ship - I wanted to return it unused - I just looked after a few days and said the seller didn't accept the return - what a crappy customer that is the provision of services

Seatalk cables missing from package

The packing list for this item as well as the Raymarine product description clearly state that a Seatalk cable is included in this kit. However, no Sea Talk cable is included in the scope of delivery. A cable is of course required for the installation.

Perfect seamless replacement for ST60 Wind

These are great tools. It's basically an upgraded version of the ST60 that's easy to replace/upgrade. The hole cut is the same as the ST60 as it is on the mast. All you need is a SeaTalk 1 to SeaTalk NG adapter cable (A06047) and a terminal block (D244) to connect and get started. These things are around $30-$40, maybe less if you find them used.

these new displays are good during the day compared to the previous ST 60 etc

these new displays are great during the day compared to the previous ST 60 etc however at night the white needle backlight makes them almost unreadable. not a great feature. Even when you switch between lamp settings, it's hard to tell if they're part of other displays. Too bad it wasn't tested before release. Nigel Stoke, Sydney.

i60 wind angle needle is stuck

Works great when running but in direct sunlight the wind angle needle gets stuck and needs to be shaded. Shading "falls off". Works well in direct sunlight. Raymarine say they are working on a fix. Many complain. Perhaps this is a design flaw in the i60's display. I would wait until the problem is resolved before buying unless you only swim at night or out of direct sunlight. Raymarine later reported that some units were manufactured with a misplaced pin causing binding. They will repair orโ€ฆ
