RCA VR508 VCR Video Cassette Player 4-Head Video System Review

Based on my observations, this cassette player system has exceeded my expectations. It is reliable, easy to use and has excellent sound quality. The built-in microphone allows me to record my own tapes with ease, and there is even a headphone jack for private listening. The only downside is that it does not have the capability to convert tapes to digital format. Overall, this is a great product for anyone looking for a reliable cassette player system.

The product is in good condition except for the winding of VHS cassettes. Every once in a while it won't rewind, and when it does, it stops midway.

This recorder records well and rewinds well but I feel like I can't control everything else. There is no on-screen numbering to determine position on the tape. I have to let it rewind all the way, which is fine when I'm overwriting programs at the beginning of the tape, but when I record a second program I can't find the beginning of the second program without some numbers on the screen finding the beginning of the second program. My previous registrars had this feature. I only see numbers when
