Review on RCA VR508 VCR Video Cassette Player 4-Head Video System by Joshua Albright

This recorder records well and rewinds well but I feel like I can't control everything else. There is no on-screen numbering to determine position on the tape. I have to let it rewind all the way, which is fine when I'm overwriting programs at the beginning of the tape, but when I record a second program I can't find the beginning of the second program without some numbers on the screen finding the beginning of the second program. My previous registrars had this feature. I only see numbers when the tape is fully rewound and the numbers flash briefly on the screen.
