Dad Loves: Personal Radios

Bought this for my dad, he walks around listening to NPR. His standards are low and he loves the quality of this radio compared to the USB charger I gave him.

Pros
  • DIGITAL DISPLAY: LCD screen and 16 radio presets
Cons
  • Blank

Junk at private radio stations

I've had this radio for 2 weeks now! Today it stopped working. I was listening to a local radio station and lost the transmission. I changed the batteries but the radio is gone. I tried AM and FM stations. silent. I'm hearing ghost noises or whatever you want to call it, so I know the headphones are working. I am very disappointed with this and will not be buying any more Cinch products.

Pros
  • Digital station search and volume control
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Inexpensive Walkie Talkie

This is a great running bracelet - as long as your arms aren't too small! I have one complaint about the volume control - it's either all the way up or off. But what worries me the most is that after only a month the on/off button on the device stopped working and I had to remove the battery after a workout. Nothing bad, but an inconvenience. The sound quality is better than most I've had.

Pros
  • Built-in Antenna
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

I love this little sports radio

I like this little sports radio. I've had it for about six weeks now. I bought this to replace my Colby sports radio because I like listening to the radio while running (no more Colby Co.). It uses rechargeable batteries. It picks up all AM and FM stations and stays on the channel. It was a bit awkward at first because it was oriented across my arm instead of lengthwise, but I quickly got used to it. The headphones that came with it were too big to stay in my ears while running, so I switched…

Pros
  • PORTABLE: clock and AM/FM radio with digital PLL tuning.
Cons
  • Weak dial
